NoteBook User Profile – Sales & Marketing Consultant
1. What is your name and occupation?
My name is Rob Shiflet, and I am the owner and managing director of a consulting business that specializes in technology-based solutions to sales and marketing needs.
2. Please describe a typical day at work.
I work from my home office about three to four days a week, and usually spend anywhere from a half to two or three days on site with clients in their offices or at a neutral location each week.
3. How does NoteBook fit into your workflow?
I use NoteBook to maintain a paperless approach to notes, keeping specific notes for prospective clients, project notes, meeting notes, etc. It allows me to have all notes indexed and searchable, at my fingertips at all times.
4. How has NoteBook boosted your performance with your work?
When we do team planning meetings with clients or team members, we project the Notebook onto the wall and handwrite all of our notes (a la whiteboard) using our pen tablets. Then at the end of the meetings, we can easily produce PDF’s or hard copies of all of the notes that we would normally have been erased on the white board. It helps us to immediately capture all notes. We’ve done this with groups from two to twenty.
5. What are your favorite NoteBook features?
The ability to drop attachments into the notes, sync to iCal, indexing and searching.
6. Do you use NoteBook with any other apps?
iCal, web browsers, and apps that create images and other document types .
7. Do you use NoteBook with any other apps?
NoteBook is a digital version of a notepad that you can easily extend, search, correct, backup, share, and sync across devices.
