NoteBook User Profile – Pastor
1. What is your name and occupation?
My name is Andrew Barnard, and I’m a pastor (minister of religion).
2. Please describe a typical day at work.
My day starts with 30 – 60 minutes of study and reflection (I use NoteBook to keep my journal / prayer diary). I get to the office around 8:30 and the meetings and phone calls start almost immediately. I try to limit counseling appointments to the afternoon (between 12:00 and 17:00) and then the evenings are usually taken up with planning and strategy meetings.
3. How does NoteBook fit into your workflow?
I use NoteBook at many times during the day to record my personal thoughts and prayers in a journal, to keep track of meeting minutes and counseling sessions, to prepare my sermons, and to take notes when attending seminars.
4. How has NoteBook boosted your performance?
It has streamlined my work because it is the one place I go to look for info. The Multidex has also made me appear to be more efficient than I am :-).
5. What are your favorite NoteBook features?
The built-in outliner, Cornell Note Taking pages, and Sticky notes.
6. Do you use NoteBook with any other apps?
Yes, with Logos Bible Software, Pages, and Preview.
7. Has NoteBook replaced other apps?
Microsoft OneNote – when I switched to the Mac I bought NoteBook and haven’t looked back.
8. How would you describe NoteBook in one sentence?
NoteBook keeps me organized.
